Ganesh Restaurant in Esslingen am Neckar

.... as is the case with many others, I love curries from India and Sri Lanka very much. For 25 years I have been trying my way through restaurants that offer this cuisine ... and so far in Germany I have never eaten better curries than at Ganesh in Esslingen! A big "WOW" for that! I don't know how this young group gets that conjured up. Especially since the menu is so extensive ... but they manage that each dish really has its own note. Many spices are used, everything is authentic, fresh ... and really incredibly tasty! Every visit to Esslingen is now associated with it. My personal favorites: The Ceylonese variants with okra pods and aubergines! And the best butter naan I've eaten so far! Big compliment! Keep it up! Regarding some of the predecessors: Yes, the rustic predecessor restaurant was certainly an "ungrateful base". But a lot of effort has been made with the decoration and room separation, the staff is very, very nice and ultimately it comes down to the great food! .... which in my case I usually take home with me anyway.

Ordered here for the first time, super uncomplicated and damn delicious! Especially if you consider the price (6-8 euros lunch menu), plus a huge portion of rice and a salad starter. Really can only be recommended! And of course there is also pappadum :)

Vegan and vegetarian prepared indescribably well! The prices are almost too low for the taste experience. Without falsehood the best food that has ever touched my taste buds!

Finally open again! Best restaurant for Indian and Ceylonese food in the whole region! Whoever eats there once doesn't want anything else.

We picked up our food there and it was delicious. In terms of price also completely okay.

Has reopened after a long break. Portions look bigger, take away is now even better because of the new containers, so the food stays warm for a long time. Delicious as always.

Delicious fresh food, vegetarian / vegan. Although I am not a vegetarian but I am always delighted with the delicious food and surprised how varied and aromatic the dishes taste. The best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten.

The place was cold. There were drinks after 30 minutes. For the second drink order I went to the counter because no staff looked after us. Unfortunately I also looked behind the counter, empty bottles etc., dirty. The food came 2 hours after ordering and was too cold. Other guests (only about 10 people in the restaurant) also had to wait a long time. Newly arriving guests were warned and left immediately. Completely disorganized. You can't complain about the service, because the is none.
